Being able to instantly search all of my notes ever is just incredible, and I lament the fact that I cannot do the same for my physical notes from pre-2015 or so. I made the switch at the in high school, and it was a complete game-changer. The change from physical to digital notes made a massive difference. Otherwise, I can recommend Notion, which is an online platform you can access in a browser. What devices do you have? My go-to for note taking is Microsoft's OneNote on a surface pro in tablet mode. It allows allows email and calendar integration but I don't use it for that. So I'd say it's more usable to me than a paper notebook. The only downside for me is that I am not sure what to do with my fountain pen hobby anymore.!Įdit: I should also add that in Supernote you can add favourites, create searchable keywords in your notebooks and create tables of content for each notebook. The writing feeling is similar to using a gel pen, very pleasant. Now it's all in one password protected device (and upcoming updates should bring in file-specific password function). writing down notes when on the phone, or needing to make a to do list, or keeping track of a habit or something). I used to have a bunch of paper notebooks: a journal (and I was constantly worried someone would read it and then worried about what to do with the used up ones), a hobby notebook, a general-stuff notebook (e.g. Also the Supernote team have an amazing customer service and very regular and significant software updates. Also, Supernote pens have ceramic nibs that don't wear out at all, so you never need to replace nibs (unlike with Remarkable). I like the Supernote as it doubles as a reading device for me because it supports the Kindle app and I can sync my notes to Dropbox. I recommend looking up My Deep Guide videos comparing several of the currently popular digital notebook devices.
